Automotive Technology
The Spanish Springs High School Automotive Technology program provides students with in-depth, hands-on instruction in the operation and scientific principles behind modern vehicle systems. Students study and work with key automotive components including fuel, intake, exhaust, ignition, lubrication, braking, heating and cooling, electrical, and suspension systems. Aligned with NATEF Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) standards, the program prepares students with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for success in the automotive industry.
