UNR Collegiate Academy Application/Account Activation Process

Any student who plans to take a University of Nevada Reno Collegiate Academy course for the first time during the 2026/2027 school year, needs to apply to the Collegiate Academy and activate their account by June 1^st, 2026. If you have taken dual credit classes through TMCC, you still need to apply to the UNR Collegiate Academy prior to taking your first Collegiate Academy course.

There are three primary steps:

1. Apply to the UNR Collegiate Academy using a personal e-mail address (not your WCSD e-mail address).
2. Activate your NetID once you receive the e-mail with your NSHE ID from UNR (a few days after you submit your application).
3. Set up your MFA (multi-factor authentication) thirty minutes or more after you set up your NetID.
